Colours: Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist & Pool Party

I just love the Colours for this Challenge!
I started with the 'Brushstrokes' Background stamp, colouring the 4 lines with 'Stampin' Write Markers'. The 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies' make a lovely background for the flowers, and I am absolutely loving the 'Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon'.

Using 3 of the colours with the flowers from the 'Oh So Eclectic Bundle', propped onto the Square shape from the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies'. 
The backing of the flowers are die cut vellum and they are mounted using 'Mini Stampin' Dimensionals'.

A little flat lay of the markers and inkpad. They all look so lovely together.

In My Neighbourhood - Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and to the Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop. Our theme this month is 'In My Neighbourhood'.

So, my take for this theme is a creation for our beautiful neighbour who helps us out every now and then with some last minute babysitting.

I started with the delightful houses from the 'Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper'. Such a lovely little neighbourhood. 

Not that the houses look anything like my neighbourhood - they did take me back to my European travels though!

My boys and I are inviting our neighbour Maree, for Afternoon Tea. Nothing like a nice cuppa and some Tim Tams to show your appreciation. Our neighbour is our 'Plan B'. 

If our 'Plan A' babysitter can't make it, we can rely on Maree for a spot of last minute 'Just let me know what time I need to come over?'. We are so lucky.

The inside... 

'Come let us sit together and drink Tea'. A perfect sentiment as an invitation.

A little close up of the 'Brick Wall TIEF'. I swiped the 'Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad' over the TIEF, and then put it through the 'Big Shot'. Making the embossed image represent the cement.

And I loved colouring the houses with my 'Watercolor Pencils' and a 'Blender Pen'.

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge #gdp098

I really love a 'Sketch Challenge', and here is this weeks Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #gdp098.

I pulled out my trusty 'Banner Triple Punch', and the only thing I had to think about was the Colours and coordinating DSP.

I am loving the NEW In Color, 'Tranquil Tide', and I am not a 'green' person. 

It's a lovely and calm colour, aka tranquil, and I wanted to create a Clean & Simple card using 'Whisper White' as the base. 

Can you guess which DSP my Designer Series Paper Banners come from?

 'Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper' is my DSP of choice. And not a daisy in sight. 
Have you overlooked this amazing DSP?

The sentiment and label are from one of my favourite Bundles; 'Wood Words Bundle'. I think it finishes my CAS creation beautifully. 

A little bit of detail - I edged the top mat with a Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker.

Just Add Ink #371 - 'Just Choose Two'

Happy Friday!

And it's a bonus Happy Friday for me - I have been asked to be a Guest Designer for

Just Add Ink for the next couple of months. It's all so very exciting, and I am honoured to be joining in with the amazing creative crew thanks to Nikki.

This weeks Challenge:





My choice of two; Kids & Patterned Paper.

 My Kids; 'Message in a Bottle' stamp set. I just love that little mermaid.

And my Patterned Paper; 'Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper'. The colours are so dreamy.

I coloured my mermaid with an 'Aqua Painter'. My mermaid is stamped with 'Basic Black Archival' ink onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock.

 I also decorated a mini coffee cup as a gift box/favour. I have a few mini coffee cups, and I love how easy it is to cover the little cup in DSP, and add a sweet swish of ribbon, this time with another little mermaid.

How cute? These would look adorable on a table as favours for a Sea themed Birthday party, or as a gift box for a tiny treat.
