Just Add Ink #379 Inspiration Challenge

Welcome to my blog, and to the Just Add Ink Inspiration Challenge #379. Be sure to check out the JAI Design Teams creations for some gorgeous inspiration, and then create your own project and add it to our Gallery here.

I just love this inspiration photo, and I wasn't sure where to go from here.

I was thinking Spring/Summer?, Strawberry Daquairi's?, Picnics in the park?, and then my thoughts went to Strawberry ice cream/gelato and the 'Cool Treats' stamp set and coordinating 'Frozen Treats Framelits Dies'.

Take your pick! I have created every sort of Strawberry, Berry style ice cream/gelato/sorbet creation you could dream of. I just love the 'Cool Treats' stamp set - so many possibilities to create some fun stuff for everyone.

'I hope your day is as sweet as you are'.

I water washed the background using 'Blushing Bride' ink using an 'Aqua Painter' onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock. And I added that lovely 'Whisper White' Baker's Twine bow - because it's just so sweet.

Colour INKspiration Blog Hop #CI18

 It's 'Colour INKspiration Colour Challenge' time! Another gorgeous colour combination coming up, and I hope you can play along?

The inspiration for our Colours:

 Powder Pink, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand & Sweet Sugarplum + Green of your choice.

 

'Happy 16th Anniversary'

A 'Happy Anniversary' card for my dear friends created using the 'Number of Years' stamp set & coordinating 'Large Numbers Framelits Dies'.

16 years of married bliss, and a creation for their milestone.

 

 I stamped the numbers using 'Sweet Sugarplum' ink onto 'Powder Pink' cardstock and die-cut them using the 'Large Numbers Framelits Dies'. 

I stamped a background using 'Pear Pizzazz' ink for the leaves and 'Powder Pink' ink for the flowers - I stamped off the image, then stamped onto the 'Whisper White' circle for a soft look.

 

You can just see underneath the Layering Circles some stamped- off 'Powder Pink' dots adding some soft texture to the card front.

I love the 'Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon' too!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Labels to Love

Hello Sunday, and hello to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. 

We are focusing on the 'Labels to Love' stamp set, and coordinating 

'Everyday Label Punch'. 

Get yourself ready to see some gorgeous creations from the Stamping Sunday Design Team.

 

 

I have made a couple of creations from this sweet stamp set, and unfortunately I was limited for time. I really wanted to use all of the stamps, however I am happy with these little somethings.

A Halloween Pizza Box filled with treats, Christmas Gift Tags and a Love Note.

The Halloween tag is just gorgeous! I added some Gold Foil to the back of the tag to add a bit of framing.
My Halloween box has been covered with 'Pumpkin Pie' cardstock & the black & white spots are from the 'Delightful Daisy' DSP! Wrapped with 'Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine'.

And on the inside.

Tags on a tag.
My Christmas tags have been waterwashed with 'Lemon Lime Twist' & 'Emerald Envy' ink onto 'Shimmery White' cardstock. Once dried, I stamped the image using 'Basic Black Archival Ink Pad'. I backed the mini tag with some 'Basic Black' cardstock, and using 'Stampin' Dimensionals' to prop them onto the 'Scallop Tag'.

The 'LOVE' note is so sweet. A simple 'Crumb Cake' envelope using the 'Envelope Punch Board' and wrapped with 'Pool Party Solid Baker's Twine'.

'LOVE' has been fussy cut from the original stamp image, and adhered to the tag. Simple and just love-ly.

Global Design Project - Colour Challenge #gdp105

The Global Design Project #gdp105 have a Colour Challenge this week and the colours are just lovely!

My creation uses the 'Jar of Love' stamp set and coordinating 
'Everyday Jars Framelits Dies'.

I started with the fish, stamped with 'Tangerine Tango' ink. I was thinking of a card that could be given with a new fish for the fish tank, and the gift tag sentiment 'Best Fishes' is perfect & punny.

I added some flowers and flourishes using the Challenge colours to decorate the mason jar. (This vessel is only a go between from the Aquarium to the fish tank). And a little bit of textured background using the 'Seaside TIEF'.
